Material Overview
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a popular 3D‑printing material made from renewable resources like corn starch and sugarcane. It’s durable, lightweight, and environmentally friendly — perfect for decorative items, collectibles, and light‑use accessories.
Care Instructions
🌡️ Keep Away From Heat PLA can soften at temperatures above 140°F (60°C). Avoid leaving your item in hot cars, near heaters, or in direct sunlight for extended periods.
🧽 Cleaning
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
For tougher spots, use mild soap and water.
Avoid harsh chemicals, acetone, or abrasive cleaners — they can damage the surface.
💧 Water Exposure PLA is not waterproof. Light moisture is fine, but avoid soaking or long-term exposure to water.
🔧 Handling PLA is sturdy but not flexible. Avoid bending thin parts or applying pressure to delicate details.
✨ Finishing & Longevity Your item may have a natural layer-line texture — a signature of 3D printing. To keep it looking its best:
Store in a cool, dry place
Dust occasionally with a microfiber cloth
Optional: apply a clear acrylic spray for added protection (user‑applied)
